2000- Watt Smart Cities Association – 2000WSCA

The Climate Institute is partnering with the Swiss-based 2000- Watt Smart Cities Association 2000WSCA on climate change mitigation and carbon emissions improvement programs in the United States.
Both 2000WSCA and the Climate Institute share a common vision about the need to address today’s formidable global climate challenges and take all actions to ‘save the planet’. Both organizations also have a remarkable record of embracing technological innovations and that of creating policy initiatives to foster positive environmental improvements throughout the globe.

2000WSCA program has an impressive record globally. In Switzerland, forty-six local communities have implemented the Swiss smart city program track to meet greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) reduction goals by 2050 and address relevant UN SDGs (sustainable development goals) and ESGs (environmental, social and governance) targets.
