Air Quality Data - United States
Local air quality indices are compiled here in a comprehensive list of links to air quality monitoring sites around the U.S. For convenience, states (and the District of Columbia) are listed alphabetically. Depending on the location, each site reports air quality based on ozone and particulate levels, however many sites also monitor for carbon monoxide, SOx, NOx lead and other air toxics. EPA AIRNOW acts as a clearinghouse for local air quality monitoring sites across the U.S., but the national site does not provide the complete data collected from every locality. More detailed reports spanning longer time periods for all 50 states and U.S. territories can be obtained from the EPA Office of Air and Radiation's AirData Program.
