- Katrina Kelly. A US citizen working in London on carbon trading issues, she possesses a Bachelor of Arts, Philosophy and Economics, Duquesne University (Graduated with Honors, 2009), and a Master’s of International Relations, Hult International Business School (Graduated with High Honours, 2010) and is now working toward a Ph. D in Sustainability and International Relations at University of Nottingham. Fluent in French and German and a native English speaker, Katrina is familiar with European emission trading markets and is developing an institutional policy guide for the 2012 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro. In the ACAR effort she will help develop some recommendations on how we might adapt European trading system innovations to the needs of the voluntary emission reduction credit system envisioned for the Arctic Climate Action Registry.
- Jillian Jordan is a communications professional based in Dallas-Fort Worth with a strong interest and research background in sustainability. A member of Texas Woman’s University’s marketing team, Jillian has been the Marketing Associate in the Office of Marketing and Communication for over four years. Previously, she worked for QuestCorp Media Group as an editor and writer for more than 160 corporate magazine clients in medicine, construction, security and energy. She also has been employed as a program coordinator for the non-profit Camp Fire USA, and with Forney Corporation, a combustion products and environmental systems manufacturer, assisting with marketing and strategic planning. She is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served active duty at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia. Jillian graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of North Texas in 2005. As a virtual intern for the Climate Institute Jillian will assume the lead in developing within a planned Smart Environmental Solutions portion of www.climate.org a section on corporate sector innovation. For the Arctic Climate Protection Network she will also seek to identify examples of corporate best practices and innovation in Arctic climate protection.
